We were tasked by Sharpie to create a unique experience for the launch of their neon marker line. What better way to launch a day glow neon marker line then at a music festival. We commissioned a custom dome built on premise inside of 5 different music festivals. (Sasquatch, Electric Zoo, EDC, Hard Music Festival and Day of the dead music festivals) Each night we would place all white interchangeable walls for people to tag, write or draw whatever they wanted. Each festival had a large 3D sculpture in it which could also be written on. Each sculpture reflected the theme of the festival. EDC was carnival themed so I hired a vendor to created a large carousel horse. We handed out masks, glow sticks and neon tees to each person that entered the tent. For the first event I supplied a music mix we played through an iPad by the 4th event the brand executives loved the idea so much they asked me to live DJ the final 2 events. Which kicked it up to a whole different level. This was concepted and designed entirely by my team and I for Newell.
